The Jounrey begins... loading the plane with a child who is going on their first flight is scary. Our son was such an angel and slept the majority of the seven hour trip which is the best thing. He was only upset cause he could not be comfortable so i layed him on th floor on the plane on a blanket and he was out until we got to the airport. then we got to my mums house and went to sleep cause of his jet lag.
more to follow.... my Paris adventure

Why should you join one of these groups?
There are endless possiblities to joining one of these groups. They offer professional help in developing your skill sets, networking with other professionals, potential for changing careers, the ability to travel, work, and play with people who can help develop your career.
I believe that all students and professionals should look into joining these groups as part of their career paths. The development will enhance the member's outlook for their career. It gives the member the ability to expand their circle and the tools to reach their personal and professional goals.
Everyone should look beyond themselves to grow.

I have taken the first steps towards taking the CMA Exam. First, I had to register with the Institute of Management Accounts IMA.
Second I went to Gleimpublishing for some practice examination tools. They let you get a free prep assessment tool that will give you some sample questions so that you can see how much extra studying you need to do to pass the exam. Without reading the questions I got a 40% and you need 70% to pass. I guess I should have read the questions and answers more carefully. Because when I did that I got 80%. That would have qualified as a passing grade.
I am still going to get the study materials so that I can do better and really pass the tests.

The Path you Choose…
Is it at all possible to know which path to choose when facing the fork in the road?
As I sit at my computer writing about this fork in the road that I am facing I think to the movie AIRBORNE.
In the movie there is a young man who is facing the challenges of fitting in with a group of people who don't like him because he is from California and is a Surfer. He is a pacifist. He does not believe that violence will solve the answer. While facing ridicule, hazing, sand being put in his locker, and falling in love he still manages to overcome the feeling of not being wanted and earns the respect of the people who didn't want him around.
I think that there are sometimes in our lives when we are facing the unwanted feeling and we need to seek out the answer of which path do we choose. It is hard for us to ensure that we have chosen the correct path but there must be one way for us to go. I believe that is how we feel when God is a direct force in our lives. It is important to know that as individuals we have free will to choose how we respond to things placed in our pathway. We are all on a path to achieve a goal and the path that we choose will get us there. No matter how many turns there might be in the road we all have an opportunity to walk the straight and narrow.
Following the path….. which way do I go? Only I will know when I get there.
When you are five your teacher asks your class: "what are you going to be when you grow up?" Most say something simple like policeman, fireman, doctor, lawyer. But saying those things we never realize how hard the road is to become those things. The education and commitment it requires. Now as I look back at my journey to achieve my MBA, I ask is it enough? What else is there for me to strive to reach? Then I remember the term "KAIZEN".
Kaizen (æ¹åÂÂ, Japanese for "change for the better" or "improvement"; the English translation is "continuous improvement" or "continual improvement").

I think about the goals that I have achieved and what I hope to achieve. Knowing that I must not be stagnant and must continually try to improve myself by seeking more knowledge and more ways to improve my quality of life and of others that I care for.
So my Saga continues by searching for a new goal.... How will yours?
